Media Group, Cross Creek to co-finance 'Rush'
Media Group has come on board with Cross Creek Pictures to co-finance director Ron Howard's racing drama "Rush."Deal was announced Friday during the Toronto Film Festival, where international sales are being handled. Friday's also the start of shooting.Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brhl are in negotiations to star with Alexandra Maria Lara. The script was penned by Morgan.Story focuses on the rivalry between James Hunt (Hemsworth) and Niki Lauda (Brhl) and their Formula 1 racing teams, McLaren and Ferrari.Shooting will take place in and around Formula 1 tracks in Silverstone in the U.K. and Nrburgring in Germany."Rush" is also produced by Imagine Entertainment, Working Title and Revolution Films, with Howard, Cross Creek's Brian Oliver, Brian Grazer, Eric Fellner, Peter Morgan and Andrew Eaton as producers. Exclusive's Nigel Sinclair and Guy East will exec produce; Tobin Armbrust and Imagine's Todd Hallowell will also exec produce.Exclusive Films International, under East and Alex Walton, will also handle international distribution. New Martha Marcy May Marlene Trailer

Here's the new international trailer and poster for Martha Marcy May Marlene, the Elizabeth Olsen-starring, Sean Durkin-directed Sundance sensation. The film has garnered a lot of attention for Olsen for her astonishing performance as a young woman having trouble reconnecting with her family after fleeing a cult. Damaged by her experiences there (and, indeed, beforehand, or she might not have joined a cult in the first place), she struggles with haunting memories and an unhealthy dose of paranoia. Olsen gets great support from Sarah Paulson, Hugh Dancy, Brady Corbet and Winter's Bone's John Hawkes. It's all due to hit UK cinemas early in 2012, so keep eyes peeled for it when the year turns.
