Why do u have to be 21 to be on bad girls club but on real world you only have to be 18?

I mean I dnt see the diff with the two shows except bd girls club is
all girls and real world is mixed gender both shows include liquer so
why the age diff I mean I think they should change the age limit on
bgc to 18 anyone agree?
